The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

Tax Day Tea Party
Lovers of the Constitution,
advocates of limited government,
and folks who want to live in a freer country:


We are celebrating our unalienable rights and peacefully protesting a government that no longer represents nor protects the great big WE, the American people.

Where: Monmouth Illinois Town Square

When: Wednesday, April 15, 2009, between 12 noon and 1 P.M.

What we need:
American flags.
Hand-made signs.
Hand-painted banners.
Revolutionary costumes.
Pocket constitutions.
A scroll version of the Constitution would be good to have on hand…
